4 Incan Mixed Metal Tupu Pins. Mixed metal amalgam possibly including: gold, silver and copper. Tupu is a Quechua term for pin. Women in the Andes typically used two tupus, their heads pointed downward, in order to fasten garments. The heads of these tupus are undecorated except for a single perforation.
