Unique Coastal Wari Culture Painted Star Pattern Textile. Perhaps a coca cloth and/or a platform for sacred ceremony showing 30 eight-point stars, generally thought to be depictions of Venus, painted using a dye resist technique. Possibly calendrical with the star motif differentiated in each rendition. Note lack of diagonal color orientation, a hallmark of later coastal textile design.
