Victorian Rectangular Tea Caddy, by D. & J. (David & John) Diller Manufactory, 5, Chandos Street, Covent Garden (London), c. 1860, with stepped lid and in-curved sides, triple compartment interior with central mixing bowl well (with glass vessel) flanked by two removable tea boxes with hinged lids and traces of foil lining, "D&J Diller" maker's label is affixed to inside of mixing bowl well, set on four wooden button-form feet, 8" high, 14 5/8" x 8 1/2". Lid interior shrinkage crack; front lid edge nick; one tea box lid hinge repair.
