Description
"The Corean (sic) Customs" printed post cards in original box. Box spells Korean with a "C". Post cards spell Korean with a "K". Black and white. Unposted. Looking back to year 1890, Korea was spelled "Corea" on the cornerstone of the British built embassy in Seoul. Early evidence in English books, maps and other printed material also display a "C" instead of the "K." The change to the "K" came on strong in 1910. 28 cards plus 1 that has been cut. Made in Wakayama Japan. Measures 3.5" x 5.5". Domestic shipping $6
