Includes a signed late 19th century Austrian Imperial award document for the award of the Order of Franz Joseph to Felix Kuranda; an album with antique and vintage, black and white or colored postcards, including architectural views, ladies portraits, etc.; an antique map with an inscription in Latin: Ducatus Carintiae et Carniolae, Cilleia Comitatus, Nova Tabula que et Pars est Meridionalior. Circuli Austriaci, Per F. de Witt. Amstelodami. Cum Privil. D.D. Ordinum Belgii Federati.The present lot on auction form part of the Kuranda's family estate. The provenance of items can be tracked back to Felix Kuranda in XIX Century Austrian Empire, member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk Long Island NY.
