A large pair of O/C Portraits of husband and wife, in matching fancy gilt gesso frames (some losses to gesso) - see photos - early to mid 19th century. According to family, the sitters are part of the Hurd family from Delaware. The portrait of the man with small hole in canvas, and both with some crazing, but overall good condition. Stretcher size 24 3/4" x 30" and total frame size 30 1/4" x 37 1/2".
