Antique Chinese Blueish-Green Glazed Earthenware "Martaban" Jar and Cover , domed cover with Buddhist lion finial, shoulders with five loops above raised boss band, h. 29 in., stand, overall h. 37 1/2 in Provenance: TK Oriental Art & Antiques, Williamsburg, VA, Nov. 1983; Estate of Warren Paul Balovich (1926-1992), New Orleans. Condition: Good overall condition, consisiten with age and use. Scattered minor chips, glaze flakes, frits, glaze pops, and abraisions.
