1906 Allotment Deed Cherokee Nation Indian Territory - this is an allotment deed signed on July 18, 1906 by the commissioner to the five civilized tribes. This deed is recorded in Book 12 in page 97. When the deed is fully opened it reads The Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory (book 192 page 287)- this deed states the amount of land that was given to DORA TROTT - this side is signed by the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation signed by Chief Rogers, Acting Secretary and Clerk- This deep is stamped and filed on Dec 29,1944 with the read seal of the Cherokee Nation on the bottom right corner.The Second deep is from the Albany Mayor Court; this deep that the owners owned the land on the west side between state street and maiden lane in Albany New York.This deed shows the price back in 1832 as well as being signed on May 15, 1832; Both deeds are in good condition for age, the Cherokee Nation Deed has a tear in the seem on the top left of the deed; both deeds have some folded edges, and yellowing from age;
