Description
A 19th century Boston, Shreve, Crump and Low French carriage clock on brass feet. The clock is ebonised and brass and has a porcelain dial with Arabic numerals with an open escapement. The clock chimes on the half hour and strikes on the hour. The movement serial number is 3422. The top has an inset Reaumur/Fahrenheit thermometer and compass and it comes with a period Ingraham clock key.
Dimensions are: 12 1/2 inches tall X 7 inches wide X 5 1/2 inches deep, 31.75 cm X 17.78 cm X 13.97 cm. All measurements are approximate.
