Drawn and painted in ink and watercolor, and depicting a woman seated in a Rococo chair beneath red draperies fringed in yellow, attired in a mob cap, shawl and blue dress, beside her a finely-drawn Neoclassical urn (9 in. x 7.125 in., sight); housed in a period mahogany frame, the backing paper a partial page of newsprint advertisements, one for the "BOSTON THEATRE" and one for the "OFFICE OF THE MICHIGAN CENTRAL RAILROAD CO., BOSTON, OCTOBER 1st, 1857." Frame: H: 11.25 in., W: 9.25 in., D: 0.875 in.
