Description
Swan Hill Pottery Rockingham-Glazed 'Grapevine' Ice Pitcher, Edward Hanks and Charles Fish, South Amboy, New Jersey, 1850-52. The branch handle issuing onto each side molded tendrils and vines suspending bunches of grapes, embossed in relief with a swan above "SWAN HILL/ POTTERY/ SOUTH AMBOY." (Lacking cover). H: 9.5 in., W: 12 in., D: 8.5 in.
