Description
The International Silver Co., After 1933. Group of tablewares, comprising a coffeepot, hot water pot, two cream pitchers, two sugar bowls (one lacking cover), four pair of sugar tongs, one coffee spoon, three napkin holders, and one vase; the hot water pot and napkin holders each engraved with the E.H. Harriman "UNION PACIFIC/ THE OVERLAND ROUTE" shield, the other side of the napkin holders engraved with a winged locomotive, all marked "INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO." and "U.P.R.R." in script letters. Together with a silverplate "Nantucket Cottage Hospital" individual teapot, factory marks. (16) Height of coffeepot: 8 in., W: 8.75 in., D: 4.5 in.
