DESCRIPTION: A large chinese Famille Rose Medallion porcelain vase depicting decorated figural court scenes. Decorated with two large body panels depicting two court scenes; one scene represents an outdoor scene with an interior as a backdrop, with several figures including a child and a horse. The second scene represents an outdoor warrior training scene with the emperor and other figures overlooking from the palace veranda. The vase is overall adorned with birds among butterflies and blossoming flowers; and is further embellished with a yellow and cobalt blue ornate rim on neck and base, a blue celadon interior, and a pair of reticulated porcelain animal-shaped gilt handles.
