BIOGRAPHY:
Sandi Lebron began painting at the age of 15. Her creative talents and painting style are mostly self-taught. Constant European visits to the great museums and her love of the work of American illustrators. Sandi creates images that capture the look and feel of the era with exquisite detail and historical accuracy. Although many of the settings are imaginary, I put a great deal of research into each painting. I study old photos, books, magazines and postcards from the turn of the century so that my people, clothing and street scenes are authentic. Today Sandi Lebron has her artwork in many notable collections. Among her best know collectors are Tommy Johns, Jane Russell and the Walgreen's of Chicago.
