Antique Ambassador Ware dinner vegetable bowl with cover which can be used as a second bowl, Athlone pattern by Fondeville, England, 1930s.

Athlone 606 is a beautiful pattern, featuring multicolored central florals with a pink rose prominent, gold filigree and a rope edge.

The bowl is c.12" x 9"; c.1.1/2" deep [30.5cm x 22.9cm x 3.8cm]; the cover is c.11.1/2" [29.2cm] from handle to handle; no chips; very little gold wear, some glaze crackle of the bowl [not the cover], no stains. The multicolored florals are bright and vivid with no fading apparent. Very good condition.
