Gorgeous pair of ornate Gorham silverplated candlesticks are reproductions of the silver candlestick made by Myer Myers in New York, NY in about 1759 and sold to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1972. The original is currently on view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 750. These lovely reproductions are marked MYER MYERS NEW YORK ABOUT 1759 METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART REPRODUCTION BY GORHAM. The original was made for Catharine Livingston Lawrence (bap. 1733-1807); to the wife of her grand-nephew, Louisa E. F. Patterson. DIMENSIONS: 10.25" high, 5.5" wide at the base, 2.75" wide at the top ORIGIN: U.S. CIRCA: 20th Century
