A lithograph view of New York by G. Hayward for Valentine's Manual based upon the iconic William Burgis (British, active America 1716 - after 1731) birds eye view of New York. This is a fine 19th century reproduction of his "A South Prospect of the Flourishing City of New York", first published in 1721 and considered the most important single view of colonial New York. Americana Home Decor And Fine Arts.
