Description
Antique, 18th/19th century, Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Mahakala set upon a lotus base. With two hands crossed behind the back of his partner holding a vajra crescent and skull cap. Mahakala is also wearing a multi-skull belt. Total approx. weight is 1731.2 grams (gross). From an E 72nd St, Manhattan estate. Dimensions: figural grouping measures approx. 7" w x 2.675" d x 6.75" h.
Condition
Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Some paint remnants present. Replaced screws to underside.
