After Edward Sheriff Curtis (American, 1868-1952) photogravure on paper titled "The Fishing Pool - Southern Miwok," Plate 494 from The North American Indian series, published by Suffolk Engraving Company, Cambridge, MA, 1907-1930. Depicts a Native American man perched between two rocks overlooking a pool of water with a small waterfall. Plate number, top left above image, titled lower left below image, copyright information, lower center below image, publisher information, lower right below image. Housed and matted under glass in a wooden frame. Image: 15 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W. Sight: 17 1/2" H x 13" W. Framed: 24 5/8" H x 20 3/8" W.
