Impressionist depiction of a dock in Boothbay Harbor, Maine stretching out into the bay surrounded by rocks and buildings bathed in early morning light. Sisson is best known for his landscapes of Maine and the southwest, combining abstract and surrealists elements into his work. Sisson has public works at Boston University, Portland Museum, Worcester Museum, Salem State College, Dartmouth College, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the National Park Foundation, amongst other organizations.

frame with surface wear and paint chips, light wear around edges by rabbet, otherwise good condition.
