Caribbean, 19th century. Anglo-Dutch West Indies mahogany or tropical hardwood bed, having spiral-twist ring turned posts with pineapple finials, wooden sides, and rising on post feet. Unmarked. Provenance: The Private Collection of Mr. Noel F. Parris, Fayetteville, Georgia. Approx. h. 48", w. 90.25", d. 66.5" (overall); w. 80", d. 57.5" (interior).

Condition

Surface wear; bolt covers are not present; frame is structurally sound.
