Description

Winterhalder and Hofmeier (German, 1810-1933), circa 1900. Oak case bracket clock, having gilt-metal mounts, silvered dial with Roman numerals, double coil gong, and rising on paw feet. The mechanism stamped "W. & H./Sch/4/". Approx. h. 17", w. 10.75", d. 7.25".

Condition

Loss of gilding; darkening to silver dial; side mounts missing handles; the front of case possibly previously having a plaque; both keys are present; clock worked during testing.
