Meissen (German, founded 1720), circa 1880. "Summer", model K 176 and "Autumn", model K 177, both originally modeled by Heinrich Schwabe, pair of Four Seasons allegorical figures modeled as busts of children. Impressed and painted marks to underside of both. Approx. of one, h. 11" ("Summer").

Condition

Chip to flower on "Summer"; no other apparent chips, cracks or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
