Description

Late 20th century. Group of three faience pottery animal-form tureens comprising: a red spongeware decorated chicken, an Italian rabbit with ladle, and a pair of ducks cuddling. The chicken with alphanumeric mark, the white rabbit marked in part "Made in Italy", pair of ducks marked "Italy" and retaining a Neiman Marcus label. Provenance: From the Estate of Joan O'Brien Diemer, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. h. 16.5", w. 17.5", d. 10" (chicken).

Condition

Repair to ladle, scattered crazing; rough edge to leaf on white rabbit; non-distracting chip to lid of chicken.
