Description
Manheim Galleries (American, founded 1919), 20th century. Large three-part mahogany breakfront vitrine in the George III Chinese Chippendale taste, having a pierced broken pediment and frieze, above six astragal glazed doors that open to reveal an upholstered interior with scalloped shelves, resting on a lower conforming base, and raised on bracket feet with a meandering design. Unmarked. Approx. h. 100", w. 120.25", d. 18".
Condition
Minor surface scratches; two glass panels are loose - held in with adhesive tape; three side glass panels are missing with broken/missing mullion; areas of moulding missing from feet; some wear to interior; interior lighting is not working; case is structurally sound; key present.
