Foxing to title page engraving, and several of the illustration engravings and facing pages, previous owners' bookplates on front endpapers. 2. and 3. [MULTIPLE ANTIQUARIES.] The Antiquarian Repertory: A Miscellany, Intended to Preserve and Illustrate Several Valuable Remains of Old Times. Adorned with Elegant Sculptures. Volumes I and II. London: Vol. I, Printed for the Proprietors and Sold by Francis Blyth, 1775; Vol. II, Printed for the Proprietors, and Sold by F. Blyth, J. Sewell, and T. Evans, 1779. Brown quarter leather binding, gilt lettering on spine, gilt cover edges. Vol. 1: Fair. Front outer hinge is split and board is nearly detached, covers worn and scratched, cover gilt mostly rubbed off, worn corners, light foxing, toning. Period newspaper clippings have been pasted on the front cover endpaper with bookplate remnant, name written on title page. Vol. 2: Fair. Covers worn and scratched, cover gilt mostly rubbed off, light foxing, toning, owner name written on the title page and first section page. On the front cover endpaper there are hand-written notes/transcriptions from grave markers.
