About the artist: Born on January 21, 1940 in the village of Nivitsy, Radekhovskiy district, Lviv region. Graduated from Kiev State Art Institute (1974). Teachers by specialty - V. Zabashta, A. Lopukhov. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1985). He worked at the Ternopol Art Combine (1974). Participated in exhibitions: republican (1975), all-union (1980). Personal - in the city of Lviv (1977). The main works are “Partisan Nursanbat” (1975), “The Fight of M. Krivonos with the Poles” (1978), “On the Home Frontier” (1980), “Bread for Partisans” (1982), portraits: “N. Paganini ”(1985),“ Educator ”(1987),“ Peasant Blacksmiths ”(1991),“ Children of War ”(1994),“ Gold of Autumn ”(1999),“ Bread on the Table ”,“ My Thoughts, Thoughts ”, “Still Life with Roses” (2000), “Still Life of Cakes” (2001). The works are stored in the museum of Pochaev, Kremenetsky district, Ternopil region, in the museum of Yaremcha city, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the Ternopol museum of local lore.
