The publisher of the album, Giuseppe (Joseph Khristoforovich) Datsiaro (1806-1865), is the owner of Russia's first publishing house of printed graphics, specialized in the publication and sale of lithographs, and kept stores in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Paris. From the beginning of the 1840s he printed his graphics mainly in the Paris printing house of Lemersieux.
