Description
A pair of orange glazed porcelain carp wall vases, 18th Century. Each fish has mouth open, and hangs vertically, with tails flipped outwards towards the viewer. Nice detail on scales and eyes. Flat back to hang on wall, with hanging hole. Circular stamp near hole on reverse side of each.
H. 11.5" (29.2 cm)
Provenance: Estate of Dr. Silvio Riccio, Internal Medicine Physician, Nanuet, New York, purchased from Deacon's Horse at Antiques of Darien, CT, on Oct. 8, 2002, for $3,000. come with original receipt.
Condition: good condition overall no damage observed
