March 18, 1836-Dated, Highly important Black History Imprint, 8 pages, measuring 7.5" x 12" detailing two British Acts both supporting the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833. Printed by George Eyre and Andrew Spottiswoode in London, it outlines the execution of the Acts to Abolish Slavery throughout the British Colonies, the Act to Compensate Slave Owners, and the system to distribute and pay out the compensations to those prior Slave owners. Well printed on crisp period wove paper, appears near mint with some tone at top of the frontis header and minimal interior. A historic worldwide Black History and Slavery related Imprint.
