DESCRIPTION: Pair of monochromatic, framed, fine silk embroideries, each depicting a different domestic scene. First embroidery depicts a woman holding an infant before a window while an older woman looks on from a stool and a man looks in at the child through the window. Second embroidery depicts a dutchman, a dutch maiden, and an older dutch woman in a kitchen; the man is sitting on a table and leaning toward the maiden while the woman looks back at them and attends to the hearth.
