Chinese Enameled Porcelain Bowl with a design of Phoenix to the outside on a yellow ground, either side of the mouth with blue bands of flowers and birds, the inside base with goldfish; an unusual mark, "US" within double squares in iron red and believed to be special orders from Canton for use on the Ships of the United States Lines circa 1917, and probably for First Class. Diameter 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.).
