Description
A QING DYNASTY DOUCAI ENAMELED PORCELAIN BOWL, FLOWER BOUQUET, DAOGUANG MARK, 1821-1850, in the Imperial taste, the glazed porcelain bowl with underglaze blue decoration, and overglaze iron red, yellow, purple, and green enameling, with an interior centering a floral bouquet encircled by a band of flower blooms and collar of distinctively stylized lotus buds and seed pods, the exterior with a yellow and blue border above scrolling lotus tendrils framing blossoming plants, raised on a circular foot encircling a six character underglaze blue mark. Height: 2 1/2" Diameter: 5 7/8"
Condition
