Artist Bio:
Wallace Nutting was a U.S. minister, photographer, artist and antiquarian most famous for his atmospheric landscape photography of New England.

After poor health forced him to retire from ministerial duties in 1904, he began taking photographs of the local landscape. He was highly prolific, and opened a number of photography studios across New England, hiring a large team of colorists to produce his photographs. By his own estimation, he sold over ten million photographs during his lifetime.
