17th-18th century, Orthodox rite. Silvered bronze, just over 1 5/8" height. Relief decoration with raised borders and cross. Simple early form probably c.1675. Reverse plain and flat. Wear from its time of use and the surface textured from burial with detail intact. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored and on a modern sterling silver box chain for contemporary wear.
