Description

Made in the remote region of Isere, in the High Alps. Antique "Art Populaire Savoyard" fireplace bellows in leather, meleze and some large wood. Meleze is a wood that is only found in the French and Italian High Alps, making these bellows a rare object to own and enjoy. Dimensions: L 21.5" x W 9.5" x D (closed) 3" Condition: Wear consistent with antique age and use.

All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Thursday, December 16th - Thursday, December 23rd, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS. We will offer in-house shipping to the Contiguous USA for select smaller items in this sale, please contact us prior to bidding for a quote as purchases are not contingent on shipping.
