Description
Three commemorative medals celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of American Independence, sold as a set of four at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876. In original case. Includes (2) 57mm medals in gilt copper and white metal, and (1) 38mm medal in coin silver. Dimensions: (Largest metal) Dia. 57mm / 2.25" Condition: Smaller medal with tarnish and heavy rubbing to lettering; all three showing normal antique wear including some dullness and a few small dings to edges. Case damaged, with lid detached from base.

All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Thursday, December 16th - Thursday, December 23rd, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
