Panama-Pacific Exposition San Francisco $50 Coin Replica 5 Ounce .999 Fine Silver Round in Original Display Box - This piece is a privately bullion issued silver medal which was created to replicate the design of the 1915-S round gold $50 commemorative coin, struck by the San Francisco mint in celebration of the Panama-Pacific international exposition. The round was struck with 5 ounces of .999 fine silver. This round does not bear the S mint mark of the San Francisco mint as the $50 coin did, and instead is marked "S/N 01884" and "5 T.O. .999 Silver" on the outside of the round edge. The round will come in the original hard plastic case and blue velvet display box. This is an extremely rare silver round, and would be an excellent addition to any silver collection.
