Description

This sign was an education for me as I was unaware that Los Angeles was the home of the first Wrigley Field! This is a great piece of history for Both Los Angeles Railways and baseball fans! It is a heavy painted sign that was placed on the front of the Los Angeles Railway trolley. The S Line traveled various routes around Los Angeles which included Wrigley Field, home of the Pacific League Los Angeles Angels. One side is for Wrigley Field Only and the flip side of the sign is for 7th and San Pedro Only. Measures 15" x 23".

Los Angeles Wrigley field opened in 1925 and an informal Wrigley Field was located on Catalina Island. Cubs Park in Chicago was renamed Wrigley Field in 1926. Sadly, Wrigley Field Los Angeles was demolished in 1969.

Condition

Excellent condition for age and use, appears all original.
