This lot contains three original field collected Mayan Medicine Bundles or Magic fetish bags field collected by Muum curator Paul Hendricks in the 1970's in Guatemala. These objects were acquired directly from a shaman and the curator considered them powerful authentic spiritual objects. We asked permission to open one to see the contents, we left the other two un-opened and intact as they have been since they were collected 50 years ago. The bag contained various shells, beads, polished stones and even a precolumbian relic of a axe God type stone idol. All three medicine bags in one lot and each measures approx 6 inches across.
