The canvas has been relined. The varnish is relatively clean.
The blue of the Virgin's drapery have discoloured.

There are four small areas of restoration to His face (each approximately 1 x 1cm.), an area of restoration to Saint Catherine's forehead (1.5 x 1cm.) and an area of restoration to the sky (approximately 2 x 10cm.), along with further infilling and small areas of restoration also to the sky. Further areas of infilling and small areas of restoration are scattered throughout.
