1941 Third Reich Birth Certificate Birth certificate copy issued by the registrar in Bremen, Germany in 1941. The certificate is for Johann Hermann Barre born in 1896 in Seehausen, and in line with the racial policies of the Nazi regime lists his parents religion as protestant. The bottom of the document is stamped with the registrar's official seal and features prominently a symbol of an eagle clutching a swastika. These types of documents are rare to survive, especially in a museum-quality state as this one has. This is an uncommon opportunity to acquire a glimpse into the dark world of Nazi rule in Germany, and how their racial ideology even permeated the state bureaucracy.
