Work depicts various war motifs (soldiers, battleships, fighter jets, etc.) framed by reeds with images of a protest, a meeting, and a person presenting to a seated audience in the blossoms of the reeds. Back of piece has multiple marks in black pen including the title, a dedication to the artist’s parents, “The SELF-REMINDER SERIES NO. 5”, “IV – D”, “49 – E”, and a message from the artist. Dated “1971 to 1972” below artist’s handwritten name on back sticker.
