Creators: Alexandro Penez, Joannes de Broen, and Abraham Wolfgang. "Nova et Accurata Hannoniae Comitatus Delineatio" copper engraving with hand coloring, heightened in gold. Published by Reiner & Joshua Ottens in Amsterdam, ca. 1720. An impressively detailed map of the County of Hainaut in Belgium, skillfully engraved and hand colored. The composition includes renderings of forests, rivers, fortifications, and villages - with three beautifully illustrated and hand-colored cartouches - the one on the upper left heightened in gold as well. In addition, there are nice blind stamps at the upper left and right corners. Size of map: 19.625" L x 23.25" W (49.8 cm x 59.1 cm) Size of sheet: 20.75" L x 24.75" W (52.7 cm x 62.9 cm)

Normal age wear with slight toning and minor tears to peripheries. Wear with areas of separation to centerfold. Nice blind stamps at upper left and right corners.
