A beautiful oil on canvas with a carved wood frame with silver tiers, a very elegant frame color for a nice painting (light silver on the inside and slightly darker silver on the outside edge). You can see a writing in the lower right by looking at the painting and it says (D and F), the painting looks very nice and very well preserved. A beautiful oil on canvas that you cannot miss with a very nice and heavy wooden frame.

Marcel Dyf (born Marcel Dreyfus, October 7, 1899 to September 15, 1985) was a French Impressionist painter.He started his career as an engineer, but soon decided to become a painter. In 1922, he moved to Arles, where he trained as a painter and set up a studio.

I have painted frescoes in the town halls of Saint-Martin-de-Crau and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. He also painted frescoes in the Museon Arlaten and in the dining room of the Collège Ampère, both in Arles. He also designed windows inside the Église Saint-Louis in Marseille.
His work was exhibited and sold at the Petrides Gallery, the Salon d 'Automne, the Salon des Tuileries and the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, as well as galleries in Cannes, Nice, Marseille and Strasbourg. Abroad, it was exhibited at the Frost & Reed Gallery in London.
