Manuscript D.S. as President, 1p. roughly 24 x 28 in., Washington D.C., September 28, 1830, rare variation of a General Land Office grant with entirely handwritten letterhead and text. After a lengthy description of the location, Jackson boldly signs at the conclusion. Co-signed by Acting Commissioner of the General Land office JOHN M. MOORE. The text of the grant is faded yet still legible, a few scattered stains.
