[GENERAL AMERICANA]. A group of 20 items, including cards advertising an evangelist and a flyer for a plantation for sale.

Replica 16th century travel sundial with compass. String keeping the top from opening becomes the marker for the sundial.

Small wood box, 2.5 x.5 x 2.5 in. no markings, although there is the remains of a stamp on the bottom. All currently visible is "Chas."

The Scioto Gazette, Vol. III, No. 112, July 3, 1802. One of the last papers from the North West Territories, since Ohio became a state just eight months later March 1, 1803. (Note: this item is framed and double glazed. It can probably be removed from the frame for shipping. There are small pinholes at junctions of folds, but the paper appears to be fairly stable.)

Two photographs, 5 x 7 in. of the burned-out Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. The fire happened Mar 25, 1911 and remains one of the deadliest industrial disasters in the history of New York. 146 people lost their lives "“ 123 women and girls and 23 men.  

AL, Philadelphia, May 18th, n.y. "Dear Cousin," Signed James Bancroft. Mostly family news, for ex: news that "Dick" quit the store and went to train as a blacksmith. Has a cover to a Thomas Bancroft, but it is postmarked May 5, so it can't be for this letter.

AL, Rockbridge City, VA, May 19th, 1850. Benjamin Laren to the doctor covering his daughter's illness, request to know when she is being released so he can send someone for her.

AL, Dublin, Sept. 24, n.y. Margaret Wright (mother) to James Wright (son). 3pp (legal sized paper). Much seems to be trying to smooth over a misunderstanding from James' last visit.

Two cards hinged: "Trading card, Roy (Rogers) and Trigger hit a high note" on one side; "Roy and Trigger rest before the corral" on the other side. Inside, "Stop, or I'll shoot," warns Dale." And "Trigger prances and rears for Roy." Series 9. Possibly a "3-D" image.
