This fine WMF90 Germany 81 piece silverplate mixed service for 12 is in overall very good condition excluding some minor wear & some scratching / small nicks on the prongs of some of the 7 1/8" forks. The set has an older, unpolished patina & should polish nicely.. The service is comprised of a mixed number of each of the following: (12) knives (8 3/8"); (6) fruit knives (6 ¾"); (12) forks (7 1/8"); (12) 3 prong salad/ dessert forks (6 1/8"); (15) teaspoons (5 5/16") & (11) coffee spoons (5 1/8").. Serving pieces include: 1 very large casserole / serving spoon (10"); (5) serving spoons (8 1/8"); 1 pierced vegetable serving spoon (8 3/8"); a master butter knife (7 1/8"); a gravy / sauce ladle with a gold wash in the bowl(6 7/8"); a small, narrow slice server (6 3/4"); a pie / dessert server (10 3/8"); a small salt / sugar spoon (2 3/8"); fish / cake serving knife with a slightly worn gold wash on the blade (10 ½") & (2) 2-prong salad / serving forks (7 1/2").. The set comes in a worn wooden chest. Purchase of the chest is optional.. There is no monogram or indication any monogram was removed.. This would be a great service to share with your guests!
