Item Details

Description

Pair of hand-forged and painted fireplace accessories in the form of reindeer. Apparently unsigned; in the manner of Samuel Yellin. Dimensions: H 22.75" x W 28" x D 7.5" Condition: One reindeer with small break to left ear; both showing normal wear consistent with age and fireplace use; losses to paint, rusting to exposed metal. Apparently previously painted silver.

All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday, Wednesday December 1st- Friday, December 10th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
