Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Majolica Turquoise and Gray Ground 'St. Louis' Pattern Oyster Plate

Impressed uppercase mark and two small cyphers, puce painted D
Of lobed hexagonal form, the central well molded with a cluster of chrysanthemums, radiating six textured panels in alternating gray and turquoise, with sprays of flowering prunus branches and palm leaves, the shaped ochre rim with half flower heads at the joins. Diameter 9 1/2 inches.
